Top Fantasy Basketball Streamers: Week 6

3 min read

I’m going to cover some specific streamers for week 6 of the fantasy basketball season, November 19th-25th. The ultimate goal — and this is primarily for H2H category leagues — is to maximize the number of games played by players who can help win categories that are going to be closely contested. For an overview of streaming strategy or to view past streaming articles, please visit the Fantasy Basketball Streaming Strategy: Overview. For daily streaming recommendations, follow me on Twitter @BasketBlogBoy. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to cover in next week’s post. Happy Thanksgiving! ?

Here’s some context for the ranks:

  • These streamers are based on 9-cat formats and are available in over 50% of Yahoo! leagues.
  • Injuries and other rotation changes can significantly alter the streaming landscape. Look at what Quinn Cook did last week with Steph Curry out, or Shaq Harrison on Saturday night (5 steals!) with Zach LaVine out. Follow injury news closely throughout the week.
  • “Q. Games” stands for quality games. That means games played on a day with a light schedule, typically 5 NBA games or less.

Why Monday-Saturday streamers? To maximize the numbers of games played by “weekly” streamers, while also allowing roster flexibility for additional moves the following Sunday depending on what categories are close.

As for the streamers above, I’m holding the following if they’re on my roster: Mikal Bridges, Mitchell Robinson, Cedi Osman, and Collin Sexton. I’m going to hold Mikal Bridges until we know more about Trevor Ariza and the Suns rotation. Bridges was great on Saturday in place of Ariza and has high rest-of-season upside if given the opportunity. The same can be said for Robinson, Osman, and Sexton. And I’d be giving Monte Morris a long look before dropping him, at least until Will Barton or Isaiah Thomas return. The other players are churnable.

Possible injuries and DNPs with streaming implications:

  • Steph Curry (stream Quinn Cook)
  • Draymond Green (stream Jordan Bell)
  • Kyle Lowry (stream Fred VanVleet)
  • Goran Dragic (stream Justise Winslow)
  • Kawhi Leonard (stream O.G. Anunoby)
  • Victor Oladipo (stream Cory Joseph)
  • Taurean Prince (stream Kevin Huerter)
